Vedic texts state that Lord Chaitanya is the Supreme Person, Krishna, appearing as His own worshiper. He is the combined form of Krishna and Krishna's most dear devotee, Srimati Radharani. He came to experience the love She feels for Him, and to show by example how to fully surrender to Krishna.

Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.7.13-14, purport—Lord Krishna Chaitanya is Krishna Himself in the garb of a devotee of Krishna, and therefore the versions of both Lord Krishna and Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu are identical.

Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.33.4, purport— Sometimes the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself wonders how much transcendental pleasure is within Himself, and in order to taste His own potency, He sometimes takes the position of tasting Himself. Lord Chaitanya is Krishna Himself, but He appears as a devotee to taste the sweetness of the transcendental mellow in Himself which is tasted by Srimati Radharani, the greatest of all devotees.

पुस्तक पानी कुथार त्रिशूलं,
मोदक भोग सुगन्धित फूलं,

धनि शिव सुवन शादानना भ्राता,

लखी मुख सुख नहीं गौरी समाना,

नाभा ते सुरन सुमन वर्शावाहीं

शम्भू उमा बहुदान लुतावाहीं,
सुरा मुनिजन सुत देखन आवहिं,
लखी अति आनंद मंगल साजा,
देखन भी आए शनि राजा

निज अवगुण गाणी शनि मन माहीं,
बालक देखन चाहत नाहीं,
गिरिजा कछु मन भेद बढायो,
उत्सव मोरा न शनि तुही भायो

कहना लगे शनि मन सकुचाई,
का करिहौ शिशु मोहि दिखायी,
नहीं विश्वास उमा उर भयू,
शनि सों बालक देखन कह्यौ

पदताहीं शनि द्रिगाकोना प्रकाशा,
बालक सिरा उडी गयो आकाशा,
गिरजा गिरी विकला हवाई धरणी,
सो दुख दशा गयो नहीं वरनी


हाहाकार मच्यो कैलाशा,
शनि कीन्हों लखी सुत को नाशा,
तुरत गरुडा चढी विष्णु सिधाए,
काटी चक्र सो गजशिरा लाये

बालक के धड़ ऊपर धारयो,
प्राण मंत्र पढ़ी शंकर दारयो,
नाम’गणेशा’शम्भुताबकीन्हे,
प्रथम पूज्य बुद्धि निधि वर दीन्हे

बुद्धि परीक्षा जब शिव कीन्हा,
पृथ्वी कर प्रदक्षिना लीन्हा,
चले शदानना भरमि भुलाई,
रचे बैठी तुम बुद्धि उपाई

चरण मातु-पितु के धारा लीन्हें,
तिनके सात प्रदक्षिना कीन्हें
धनि गणेशा कही शिव हिये हरष्यो,
नाभा ते सुरन सुमन बहु बरसे

तुम्हारी महिमा बुद्धि बढाई,
शेष सहसा मुख सके न गई,
मैं मति हीन मलीना दुखारी,
करहूँ कौन विधि विनय तुम्हारी

OM - The Absolute




Before the beginning, the Brahman (absolute reality) was one and non-dual. It thought, "I am only one -- may I become many." This caused a vibration which eventually became sound, and this sound was Om. Creation itself was set in motion by the vibration of Om. The closest approach to Brahman is that first sound, Om. Thus, this sacred symbol has become emblematic of Brahman just as images are emblematic of material objects. 

The vibration produced by chanting Om in the physical universe corresponds to the original vibration that first arose at the time of creation. The sound of Om is also called Pranava, meaning that it sustains life and runs through Prana or breath. Om also represents the four states of the Supreme Being. The three sounds in Om (AUM) represent the waking, dream and deep sleep states and the silence which surrounds Om represents the "Turiya" state. 

Because the first of the three states of consciousness is the waking state, it is represented by the sound "A" pronounced like "A" in accounting. Because the dream state of consciousness lies between the waking and the deep sleep states, it is represented by the letter "U" which lies between the "A" and "M". This "U" is pronounced like the "U" in would. The last state of consciousness is the deep sleep state and is represented by "M" pronounced as in "sum." This closes the pronunciation of Om just as deep sleep is the final stage of the mind at rest. Whenever Om is recited in succession there is an inevitable period of silence between two successive Oms. This silence represents the "fourth state" known as "Turiya" which is the state of perfect bliss when the individual self recognizes his identity with the supreme. 

Just as the sound of Om represents the four states of Brahman, the symbol Om written in Sanskrit also represents everything. The material world of the waking state is symbolized by the large lower curve. The deep sleep state is represented by the upper left curve. The dream state, lying between the waking state below and the deep sleep state above, emanates from the confluence of the two. The point and semicircle are separate from the rest and rule the whole. The point represents the turiya state of absolute consciousness. The open semicircle is symbolic of the infinite and the fact that the meaning of the point can not be grasped if one limits oneself to finite thinking. 


   


O Arjun, in victory your glory on Earth, in defeat your glory in Heaven.

The Opulence of the Almighty


 

The Supreme Almighty said: My dear friend, mighty-armed Arjuna, listen again to My supreme word, which I shall impart to you for your benefit and which will give you great joy.

Neither the hosts of demigods nor the great sages know My origin, for, in every respect, I am the source of the demigods and the sages.

He who knows Me as the unborn, as the beginningless, as the Supreme Lord of all the worlds--he, undeluded among men, is freed from all sins.

Intelligence, knowledge, freedom from doubt and delusion, forgiveness, truthfulness, self-control and calmness, pleasure and pain, birth, death, fear, fearlessness, nonviolence, equanimity, satisfaction, austerity, charity, fame and infamy are created by Me alone.

The seven great sages and before them the four other great sages and the Manus [progenitors of mankind] are born out of My mind, and all creatures in these planets descend from them.

He who knows in truth this glory and power of Mine engages in unalloyed devotional service; of this there is no doubt.

I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who know this perfectly engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.

The thoughts of My pure devotees dwell in Me, their lives are surrendered to Me, and they derive great satisfaction and bliss enlightening one another and conversing about Me.

To those who are constantly devoted and worship Me with love, I give the understanding by which they can come to Me.

Out of compassion for them, I, dwelling in their hearts, destroy with the shining lamp of knowledge the darkness born of ignorance.
